Student Data ManagerTERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Non-Exempt, 10-Month Position; Full-Time; 40hr/wkSALARY: NC 04-10QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate required; associates degree in related area preferred; or 5 years of relevant experience involving a large variety of complex duties required; high level of computer proficiency required; ability to work with confidentiality; good communication skills; ability to interpret, analyze and report information; dependable; with good job attendance record with previous employers.DUTIES: Daily maintenance of the student information database to including all aspects of student records (attendance, grades, demographics, class schedules, test scores, immunizations, etc.); prepares correspondence to parents to advise them of excessive absences according to established policies; facilitates transfer of student records between schools; maintains information for Uniform Education Reporting System (UERS) reporting areas; prepares customized reports for local and state needs; when needed will receive telephone calls and greets visitors; other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or Superintendent.BENEFITS: Benefits AvailableAPPLICATION DEADLINE: Applications will be accepted until position is filled.The Jackson County School System is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any person in hiring, tenure, or promotion on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, national origin, age or handicaps in any of its education or employment programs or activities.
