Ultrasound Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (06:30 - 16:30). Variable 10-hour shifts with the opportunity for on-call during the noc shift.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing various ultrasound procedures and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients of various age groups, including adolescents and adults.
• Utilize appropriate imaging techniques to obtain high-quality images.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to provide the best patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT, BLS, RVT, and ARDMS in at least one category.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred.
• Community hospital experience required; trauma level I experience preferred.
