Maintenance Custodian Associate At Sam's Club Base Pay : $16.00/hr – $23.00/hr Position Summary We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. As a Maintenance Associate, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go, maintaining a positive attitude so customers have a great experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of waste according to the company’s Environmental Sustainability Program. Conduct safety sweeps, follow proper forklift spotting procedures, and manage hazardous materials handling and disposal. Keep chemical and supplies levels appropriate, rotate chemicals, and place orders when supplies are low. Work in physically demanding environments and endure continual shifting shifts. Maintain a positive attitude and achieve member satisfaction as a top priority. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Physical ability to stand and work on feet for entire shift. Preferred Qualifications Previous custodial or facilities maintenance experience. Knowledge of safety protocols and chemical handling. Benefits Health benefits: medical, vision and dental coverage.
