About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, PR & Communications to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive communications strategy that positions the brand within culture and contemporary fashion discourse. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of brand storytelling, from crafting compelling narratives to orchestrating brand activations and events that generate significant earned media. This role requires a strategic mindset, the ability to identify and capitalize on cultural moments, and a proven track record in integrated communications that reinforces the brand's position in fashion and culture. The Vice President will also be tasked with maintaining strong editorial and press relations, managing a team, and overseeing the budget for the press department. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in communications, public relations, or marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior director-level or equivalent leadership role. A background in luxury fashion brands or disruptor fashion/culture agencies is essential, as is a network within fashion, culture, nightlife, and media communities. The role demands a candidate with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite, and strong copywriting and creative ideation skills. The ideal candidate will have established relationships with key editors and journalists, experience in leading successful brand activations and events, and a proven ability to secure editorial coverage in tier-one international publications. Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills are also required, along with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
