Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a connection with clients through virtual counseling sessions. Our regular work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will have access to state-of-the-art telehealth technology to conduct assessments and therapy, working closely with a supportive team of professionals who share your commitment to enhancing the lives of elderly individuals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying their specific needs and areas requiring support.

• Deliver high-quality individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional difficulties related to aging, loss, and life transitions.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, ensuring all aspects of care are considered.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for residents and families dealing with end-of-life challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on geriatric clients coping with a variety of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. Many of these individuals are facing significant life changes, such as retirement, loss of loved ones, or health-related transitions, which require specialized and sensitive therapeutic approaches. You will play a crucial role in helping them navigate these changes with dignity and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual income between USD 65,000 and 95,000, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
