About the Position

Job Title

MRI Technologist – Mids (8-Hour Shifts)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM | On-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general MRI scans including brain, spine, MRCP, extremities, and occasional OB and stroke imaging for inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient populations
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment in a single-room MRI department; must be comfortable working independently as the sole MRI Technologist on shift
• Support stroke protocol imaging with appropriate urgency and accuracy
• Float to an off-site outpatient imaging center as needed (approximately 5 minutes from main facility)
• Participate in on-call rotation: 1–2 weekday shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and approximately one Friday night through Monday morning (11:00 PM – 9:00 AM) per month, with an expected 30-minute response time
• Document and manage imaging workflows using EPIC EMR and Philips Vue PACS

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute care MRI experience required; first-time travelers considered only with 5+ years of experience
• Active Washington State MRI Technologist license required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with general MRI protocols including brain, spine, MRCP, extremities, stroke, and occasional OB imaging
• Ability to work independently as the only MRI Technologist on duty

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Siemens Espree, Skyra, or Symphony MRI systems strongly preferred
• Proficiency with IV starts preferred
• Prior experience in a Level III trauma center or community hospital setting
• Familiarity with pediatric MRI cases, including sedated patients
