Behavioral Health Therapist

Plains Area Mental Health Center is hiring a full-time Psychotherapist to join our team in our Spirit Lake location. This position is hybrid with in-person and up to two remote telehealth days once telehealth case load can be supported. Enjoy a flexible schedule where full time is a minimum of 30 hours per week with full benefits. 40 hours a week is preferred; however, hours are negotiable. Pay Range: Fully Licensed - $60,000 to $80,000 base salary (30-40 hours per week) depending on experience. Temporary Licensed - $50,000 to $70,000 base salary (30-40 hours per week) depending on experience. $5,000 increase for obtaining full licensure. Provides consultation on a case, program, or community basis. Performs psychotherapy and brief counseling to children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting. Provide emergency services and interventions as needed. Regular review and consultation with the Team for consistent communication and treatment for better outcomes for clients. Work with internal Case Managers on referrals to Psychiatric, Community Support, Habilitation, Peer Support, and other appropriate programs. Completes documentation according to the documentation submission standards for the Center. Required periodic on-call rotation, on-call pay above base salary.
