Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment. The Emergency Department is a primary stroke center and chest pain accredited facility, offering an opportunity for growth in clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals presenting in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop nursing diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
