What You'll Do

• Conduct assessments for residents to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for patients in long-term care settings.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care.
• Oversee and contribute to compliance with facility regulations and PDPM processes.
• Support and guide facility staff on best practices for communication and swallowing management.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
• Assist with documentation and reporting to ensure accurate, compliant records.

What You Need

Required:

• Valid licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) in Missouri
• Relevant certifications as required by state and federal law
• Prior experience working with high-acuity patients in long-term care (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration
• Familiarity with PDPM processes and rehabilitation program development
