Prep cook

This position is responsible for setting the tone for safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in the kitchen. The role supports the kitchen lead to ensure all prep besides sauces is taken care of efficiently and with precision. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients for various dishes. Support the cooking staff during peak hours by ensuring a steady supply of clean cookware and utensils. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping and mopping floors. Follow food handling and safety regulations to ensure the well‑being of all guests. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during banquets and catering events. Qualifications Have experience in restaurants and food service (experience not required).
