Construction Superintendent

DC Beane and Associates Construction Company is seeking experienced Superintendents to join our growing team. This position is responsible for overseeing field construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and site logistics, maintaining project safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget throughout New England. We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience and may hire at different levels based on qualifications, technical knowledge, leadership ability, and prior construction experience. Responsibilities Direct and supervise day-to-day construction activities on active project sites. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, materials, and field operations to maintain project schedule and quality standards. Develop and implement site logistics plans, work sequencing, and project schedules. Maintain and enforce project safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations and DCBA safety requirements. Lead project quality control efforts and ensure all work is completed in accordance with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and client expectations. Maintain strong communication with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, Project Executives, subcontractors, and field personnel. Lead and participate in OAC meetings, subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and project coordination meetings. Assist with project start-up, closeout, punch list, owner training, and turnover activities. Track project progress and communicate schedule impacts, field issues, and jobsite updates to project teams. Depending on experience level, candidates may independently manage projects, oversee major phases of large projects, supervise and mentor field staff, and support projects ranging from small renovations to large‑scale healthcare, academic, and life sciences construction projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred. Equivalent construction experience will also be considered. Minimum 3 years assistant superintendent/superintendent experience. Experience in commercial construction required. Experience in healthcare, academic, and/or life sciences construction is preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced construction environment. Experience with Microsoft Office, Procore, and Microsoft Project preferred. OSHA‑30 certification preferred. LEED Accreditation is a plus. Physical Requirements Travel to project sites throughout New England is required. Candidates must be able to climb stairs and ladders, navigate active construction environments, and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds. Work may involve exposure to construction equipment, elevated structures, airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, and electrical hazards. Compensation The typical salary range for this position is $95,000–$140,000 annually . Actual compensation will depend on experience, skill set, education, project background, leadership experience, and overall qualifications. Familiarity with commercial construction and the New England market may also be considered. This salary range is only one component of DC Beane and Associates’ overall compensation package. Additional Information Please note: This is a New England‑based construction position, and we are seeking candidates available for immediate hire.
