Operation Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily delivery operations, including safety, driver performance, dispatch execution, staffing, and operational metrics. This individual will work closely with company leadership and Amazon station personnel to ensure routes are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all company and Amazon standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing daily delivery operations for multiple delivery routes
• Supervising dispatch activities and ensuring successful route execution
• Recruiting, training, coaching, and developing Delivery Associates and support staff
• Conducting performance reviews, coaching sessions, and corrective actions when necessary
• Fostering a positive workplace culture focused on safety, accountability, and employee engagement
• Monitoring key performance indicators including safety metrics, on-time delivery performance, customer feedback, attendance, and route completion
• Analyzing operational data and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Partnering with Amazon station leadership to address operational challenges and maintain compliance
• Investigating incidents, accidents, and customer escalations while ensuring proper documentation and follow-up
• Assisting with workforce planning, scheduling, and labor management
• Conducting daily operational meetings, safety briefings, and shift handoffs
• Ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and Amazon delivery standards
• Serving as a leader during peak operations, severe weather events, and other high-pressure situations

Required qualifications include:

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience in logistics, transportation, operations, warehouse management, or related fields
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and operational reporting tools
• Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules as business needs require
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
• Previous Amazon DSP, transportation, or last-mile delivery experience
• Experience with performance management and employee development
• Knowledge of Amazon delivery performance metrics and station operations
• Experience managing 50+ employees in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $50,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
