As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Site Location: Middle River, MD

• Set schedule options:

• 3rd Shift - Friday and Saturday 11:00pm - 7:00am & Sunday and Monday 10:00pm - 6:00am, 32 hours per week

• Split Shift - Friday and Saturday 3:00pm - 11:00pm & Sunday and Monday 2:00pm - 10:00pm, 32 hours per week

• 3rd Shift - Sunday through Thursday 11:00pm - 7:00 am, 40 hours per week

• 2nd Shift - Sunday through Thursday 3:00pm-11:00pm, 40 hours per week

• Flexible Schedule - Must have open availability, on-call, part-time to full-time workloads vary

• Competitive hourly wage of $20/ hr (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity

• Verify identities and control access to secure areas

• React quickly to threats or incidents

• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras

• Document incidents and actions taken

• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks

• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents

• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED

• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process

• First aid certification is an asset

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!

• You have reliable transportation.

• You are 21 years of age or older.

• You have a valid security license or can obtain one.

• You have exceptional computer skills.

• You are able to perform all physical functions of the role.

• You have prior security experience - preferred.
