Contract Opportunity A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in multiple school locations throughout El Dorado County, CA, for the 2026-2027 school year. The district covers a wide geographic area including sites from El Dorado Hills to Camino, with exact assignments to be confirmed closer to the start of the school year. Candidates should be prepared for potential itinerant work involving travel between schools within the county. Key Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy services to students with mild to moderate needs, with some positions involving more severe caseloads. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with school staff and families. Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) when applicable. Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations. Adapt to changing assignments and itinerant work as needed throughout the semester. Qualifications and Experience Valid California SLP License required. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Experience working in California schools and with SEIS preferred. Willingness and ability to travel between various school sites within El Dorado County. Comfortable providing onsite services only; remote options are not available. Able to supervise CFs and SLPAs onsite, if applicable. Location Placerville, CA, with travel throughout El Dorado County. Compensation Compensation for this position ranges from $45.53 to $72.53.
