Dietary Aide

Dietary Aide / Wait Staff Pay: $12.00–$13.50 per hour (based on experience) Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Available Join Our Team! We are looking for caring, dependable, and energetic Dietary Aides / Wait Staff to join our Food & Nutrition Services team. If you enjoy working with seniors, providing excellent customer service, and making a difference every day, we'd love to meet you! As a Dietary Aide, you'll help create a welcoming dining experience by serving nutritious meals, assisting residents during mealtimes, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment. Responsibilities Prepare the dining room for meal service Serve meals and beverages in a friendly, professional manner Assist residents during meals while promoting dignity and independence Deliver meal trays and snacks to resident rooms Ensure food is served accurately and at proper temperatures Assist with light food preparation as directed Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and sanitize work areas Restock supplies and rotate food items properly Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas Follow all infection control, sanitation, and food safety procedures Work as part of a team to provide exceptional service to our residents Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required Excellent customer service and communication skills Positive attitude and ability to work well with others Ability to follow directions and maintain sanitation standards Reliable, dependable, and compassionate Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays Benefits Competitive pay Paid time off Health, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees) Employee referral program Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Meaningful work serving seniors in a resident-centered community #J-18808-Ljbffr
