We are supporting an international insurance organization as it strengthens its internal capabilities around a strategic core insurance platform. As part of a major transformation initiative, the organization is moving away from a traditional outsourced delivery model towards agile, product-oriented teams focused on innovation, ownership, and long-term business value. To support this journey, we are looking for experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developers who are interested in expanding their expertise into the insurance technology domain through a structured knowledge transfer program, a specialized insurance core platform. The Role: As an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you will initially contribute with your database development expertise while participating in a knowledge transfer and onboarding program focused on the insurance technology. Over time, you will transition into this technology development role, working alongside experienced specialists and contributing to the evolution of a core insurance platform used by a major international insurer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL solutions.
• Analyze and enhance existing database structures, procedures, packages, and triggers.
• Participate in platform migration and transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements.
• Gain expertise in an insurance technology through dedicated knowledge transfer and hands-on learning.
• Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of insurance-based solutions.
• Contribute to agile delivery teams focused on insurance products and processes.
• Assist in data migration, integration, and modernization initiatives.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Experience creating and optimizing: Stored Procedures Packages Functions Triggers Complex SQL Queries.
• Good understanding of database design and performance tuning.
• Experience working within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Oracle Forms.
• Experience with REST APIs and integrations.
• Insurance industry knowledge.
• Experience working on core business platforms.
• Previous exposure to insurance core systems.
