Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, tailoring personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy techniques with an emphasis on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Work collaboratively with medical staff, including nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and at-home exercise programs
• Keep comprehensive documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress while adhering to organizational and regulatory standards
• Engage actively in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred; additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
