As an integral part of our healthcare services, the Pediatric Radiology Technologist will be responsible for providing radiological diagnostic services tailored specifically for pediatric patients. Responsibilities Operate and maintain all radiographic and imaging equipment with a focus on safety and accuracy. Prepare pediatric patients and their families for the imaging process, explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety. Collaborate with pediatricians and other medical staff to provide comprehensive care. Adjust imaging equipment and positions based on the specific needs and safety of children. Manage imaging data, uphold patient confidentiality, and maintain accurate records. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintaining the cleanliness of radiological equipment and work areas. Participate in departmental meetings and continuous improvement initiatives related to pediatric healthcare services. Required Skills Proficiency in using radiological technology and equipment, specifically for pediatric care. Strong communication skills with an ability to explain complex processes to young patients and their guardians. Ability to work collaboratively in a high-stress environment.
