ER-Med/Surg Float Registered Nurse

Location: Tucson, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled, 24 hours guaranteed. Please note that the facility may cancel one shift.

Job Description: This position is for an ER-Med/Surg Float Registered Nurse. The candidate will float between two emergency departments: a Level I Trauma Center and a Level III facility. Candidates must have prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across various departments.
• Float between the Tucson Campus Level I Trauma and South Campus Level III as needed.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate effective patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department RN experience.
• Experience in a 500+ bed hospital is preferred.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
• Active RN license to practice without any disciplinary actions.
• Current certifications required: PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS from approved vendors.
• Driver's License to verify residency is required.
