Staff Pharmacist in Greensboro, NC

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialty retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to support their sterile and non-sterile compounding operations in Greensboro, NC. This role offers a contract-to-hire opportunity, providing a pathway to a direct hire position after 13 weeks. The pharmacy utilizes PK software for order entry (similar to QS1), and training will be provided on the system to ensure a smooth transition.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break, supporting work-life balance during daytime hours. The work environment focuses on specialty retail services, including both sterile and non-sterile compounding, making it ideal for pharmacists with a passion for precision and patient care.

Key Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina
Minimum of 1 to 2 years pharmacy experience
Experience with sterile compounding is a strong plus
Experience with non-sterile compounding is beneficial

Responsibilities include verifying and dispensing prescriptions, accurately compounding medications under sterile and non-sterile conditions, maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations, and providing excellent patient care and communication.
