Job Description As a Business Consulting Senior Associate, you’ll be responsible for business process analysis, requirements definition efforts for remediating gaps, cost and cycle time analysis/remediation, and the communication and change management required to ensure the success of our clients – all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Utilize previous consulting and industry experience to help companies set and achieve their long‑term goals Perform accurate analysis and design effective solutions to a variety of client issues Work directly with clients to address their issues and act as the day‑to‑day relationship contact Work closely with Grant Thornton teams to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues Develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships to provide maximum value to our clients through the delivery of our full solutions Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization) Other duties as assigned Technical Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 2+ years of work‑related experience in financial management and/or consulting Experience working in financial services in a consulting capacity, with a focus on finance Strong analytical skills and ability to perform quantitative analysis and develop business cases Process analysis, Reporting & Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & Reconciliation Working knowledge of Close‑the‑books, Chart‑of‑Accounts, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis & Financial Benchmarking Knowledge of banking operations and related regulatory issues Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects in a rapidly growing practice Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills Can travel as needed – Expected travel is up to 30% Compensation The base salary range for this position is between $110,400 and $140,760. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion and is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.
