Associate General Counsel - Litigation

Our Associate General Counsel will support our business with all regulatory and legal matters. They will be responsible for overseeing title‑related legal projects as well as servicing and other loan‑level litigation. This position requires 100% on‑site attendance at our headquarters in Pontiac, MI. What You Will Be Doing Focus on Mortgage Servicing Litigation Providing business support on a variety of regulatory and legal matters Interpreting legislation and regulations affecting mortgage brokers and lenders Reviewing business relationships with vendors Conducting legal research on unique legal issues impacting the organization Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect the Company Performing pre‑litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rights Providing legal training to Company team members What We Need From You Must Have Qualifications Michigan bar licensed attorney Litigation experience Experience in overseeing and litigating servicing and other loan‑level cases Experience performing corporate legal work Experience in the mortgage banking, banking, loan servicing, or financial industry Strong leadership and communication skills Effective planning, organizational, and project management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively High level of attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and communication skills Ability to work independently Critical thinking, analytical and problem‑solving skills Self‑motivated and able to work well in a team‑based environment The Place & The Perks Ready to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
