If you love keeping things organized, solving problems, and being the go-to person who "just makes things happen," this role is built for you.What You'll Be Doing (Your Daily Impact)You're the connection point between our mechanics, vendors, and inventory-keeping everything moving:Manage and maintain parts inventory (accuracy is everything) Track parts usage and ensure work orders reflect what's actually used Purchase parts and supplies to keep equipment up and running Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and services Schedule outsourced repairs and services when needed Ensure invoices are accurate, coded correctly, and submitted on time Arrange parts pickups through our parts runner Support technicians and jump in to help when needed Keep outside yards and departments stocked with essential supplies What Makes You a Great FitThis role is perfect for someone who thrives on organization and follow-through:Strong attention to detail-you catch what others miss Organized and efficient-you don't let things fall through the cracks Clear communicator (phone, email, in-person) Comfortable with typing (40 WPM) and 10-key entry Experience with parts purchasing, service writing, or warehouse work (preferred) Self-motivated-you don't wait to be told what to do Team-oriented mindset-you support the bigger picture Physical RequirementsPrimarily desk-based work (typing, ordering, coordinating) Ability to lift 30–40 lbs when needed Occasional bending, twisting, and movement around the shop/yard Why Metro Group?We take care of the people who keep our operation running:Medical, Dental & Vision coverage PTO + Paid Holidays 401(k) with company match (up to 4%) $500 Referral Bonus + $500 Retention Bonus Safety Incentive Programs Company Events (Summer Party + Christmas Party) "Extra Mile" Employee Recognition Program
