FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Position Floor Technician – Full Time and Part Time – Long Beach Medical Center, 2801 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90806. Schedule: Full time and part time schedules (hours and days may vary). Pay: $23.00 – $24.40 per hour. Job Summary Floor Technician responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Essential Functions Maintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface. Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
