Job Description
The Associate Dentist plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive dental care, including patient examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning. This role involves performing various dental procedures and educating patients on oral health to ensure optimal dental outcomes. The Associate Dentist collaborates closely with dental staff, maintains accurate records, and upholds stringent infection control standards while also participating regularly in community and outreach programs.
Responsibilities:
- Examine patients and diagnose dental conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Perform a range of dental procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Provide emergency dental care as needed
- Collaborate effectively with dental staff and assist in equipment maintenance
- Participate regularly in community and outreach programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Entry-level experience in dentistry
- DDS or DMD degree
- Valid Dental License
- Clinical dentistry and radiology knowledge
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
