Travel Physical Therapist - $1,942 per week

Physical Therapist – Travel Position Trusted Talent is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Newark, Ohio. Start Date: 05/25/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: days. Employment Type: Travel. Responsibilities Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Delegate and direct therapy services for assigned patients. Design functional treatment programs for effective return to community activities. Educate patients, families, students, coworkers, and oneself. Perform professional duties associated with care of the patient, development of therapy services, and program delivery. Adhere to organizational mission, core values, and code of conduct, maintaining confidentiality regarding patient and company information. Uphold professional standards and codes of conduct; hold self and others accountable as appropriate. Promote patient and employee safety, focusing on safe patient handling, materials handling, infectious diseases, slips/trips/falls, and work environment. Follow clinic guidelines on personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality. Utilize skills and competencies necessary to perform job functions in accordance with population served criteria. Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans focusing on progressing patients towards discharge within an established length of stay. Document medical records clearly, concisely, accurately, and timely, ensuring compliance with guidelines and policies. Provide care under signed physician orders and within insurance approval. Participate in student programs, providing supervision, development of objectives, and student evaluations. Create and pursue an individualized professional development plan, engaging in continuing education and professional activities. Adhere to state practice act and regulatory agencies, maintaining professional licensure and completing state‑mandated continuing education requirements. Demonstrate awareness of organizational performance improvement initiatives, offering feedback to maximize outcomes. Qualifications Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school is required. Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience is required. CPR certification is required. Must maintain an active and applicable license for the state where work will be performed. Compensation and Benefits Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Travel reimbursement.
