Design & Production Travel Required: Up to 10% Clearance Required: None What You Will Do: 1. Create High-Quality Human-Centered Visual & Communication Products Develop graphics, publications, templates, brand assets, mapping products, and UI-aligned visual materials supporting ISG MPP deliverables—similar to Vicky Germano's work across FEMA, Air Force, and DHS programs. Translate complex engineering or mission requirements into clear, intuitive visual outputs for government clients. 2. Support Human-Centered Design Engineering Workflows Support user-centered design processes such as storyboarding, layout development, simple animation/GIF work, and iterative refinement. Apply HCD principles drawn from team practice guides—including prototyping, wireframing, usability considerations, design systems, and design-engineering integration. 3. Collaborate Closely with Proteges, Dow and IC Agencies, and Guidehouse Stakeholders Engage frequently with cross-functional partners to refine requirements, solicit feedback, iterate quickly, and maintain design accuracy. Provide strong communication in project discussions, syncs, and design review sessions. 4. Manage Design Files, Organization, and Delivery Quality Maintain impeccable file/layer organization and prepare deliverables that any team member can easily inherit. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment across all MPP artifacts. 5. Operate as a Reliable Contributor within the HCD Team Participate in visibility/value syncs and share ongoing work, mirroring how Victoria Germano supports team culture and collaboration in meetings. Bring creativity, positivity, and client-centric delivery to every engagement. What You Will Need: TEN (10)+ years professional design experience Proficiency in: Graphic design Branding Digital & print layout Email templates Web ad/social media design Typography Simple animation/GIF production Strategic communications Ability to contribute to human-centered design engineering tasks (visual storytelling, iterative feedback cycles, prototyping foundations). What Would Be Nice To Have: Experience supporting DOW, IC, FEMA, Air Force or other national security clients Comfort producing complex visual products such as transit maps, public-facing graphics, or large multi-asset packages (sound transit, OEHP newsletters, posters, etc.). Familiarity with HCD frameworks. Experience with client feedback cycles, retrospectives, and continuous improvement culture. Strong client collaboration skills; comfort working in fast-turnaround environments Ability to ask clarifying questions, push back appropriately when needed, and communicate constraints. The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
