Warehouse Associate (Seasonal/Temporary)

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM (up to 4:00 PM as needed)
Employment Type: Temporary / Seasonal
Location: Spencer, IA

Requirements

• Steel-toe shoes required
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Prior forklift and warehouse experience required
• Ability to read and communicate in English
• Experience loading and unloading semi-trailers preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse using forklifts and other equipment. This role also includes inventory handling, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and transport materials
• Load and unload semi-trailers efficiently and safely
• Count, weigh, and verify incoming and outgoing materials
• Complete and maintain accurate records and documentation
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
• Move inventory within the warehouse and between production areas
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness (sweeping floors, cleaning spills, removing debris)
• Follow all safety and environmental procedures

Work Environment

• Physically active role requiring frequent lifting, standing, and movement
• Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and equipment use
