Senior Repair and Service Technician

Our client, aerospace and defense industry leader, is seeking a Senior Repair and Service Technician to join their team. As a Senior Repair and Service Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance and Support Department supporting electronic systems used in critical applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Repair and Service Technician

Location: Las Cruces, NM

Pay Range: $20 to $25

Shift: Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm

What's the Job?

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on returned or fielded electronic units to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct functional and environmental testing to verify repairs and compliance with specifications.
• Document repair actions, test results, and root cause findings accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Customer Support teams to resolve issues and improve product reliability.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment and support field returns, warranty evaluations, and customer inquiries.

What's Needed?

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent military/technical training.
• 5+ years of experience in electronic repair and service, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability environments.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital electronics, circuit diagnostics, and soldering/rework techniques.
• Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
