This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the manufacturing function. This position will report to the Logistics Manager **The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:*** Coordinate all export, LTL, and TL shipments* Tender loads utilizing Ashland's TMS (Transportation Management System)* Maintain and coordinate shipping schedule* Prepare Bills of Ladings* Print export, domestic and customer specific labels* Use SAP to confirm shipments* Assist with purchase orders, receiving, etc.* Weekends are required as needed for month end**In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:*** A minimum of a High School diploma* 1-3 years in supporting shipping* 49CFR, IATA and IMDG certifications, or be able to obtain* Must be highly proficient in the use of computers: email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint* Must be highly organized and self-motivated* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills* Must have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to multi-task**The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:*** SAP experience, SAP & Accounting practices is highly desirable* Microsoft products, excel, and wordIn more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
