Key Responsibilities of an IDD Residential Program Manager/Case Manager

IDD Residential Program Managers play a vital leadership role in delivering high-quality support services. Responsibilities include:

• Oversight of all aspects of residential program services, ensuring compliance with agency standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage a caseload of 18–22 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), ensuring person-centered care and service coordination.
• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and retain quality residential staff/providers, fostering a supportive and accountable team environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations, address employee concerns, and implement progressive disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Lead the development, coordination, and monitoring of programs in accordance with each individual’s Service Plan.
• Review and approve attendance, billing data, and payroll, collaborating closely with the Billing Coordinator to ensure accurate tracking and utilization of billable units.
• Conduct environmental monitoring of individual residences to ensure compliance with agency and IDD standards and regulations.
• Complete and submit all required monthly reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide support and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and integrity of the residential program.

• Starting pay scale: $25.64 - $28.30 per hour
• 4-day work week: 36 hours per week, closed on Fridays. Extra hours may be required to ensure caseload responsibilities are completed each week.

Minimum Qualifications and Conditions of Employment

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; a combination of undergraduate or graduate classes and experience may be considered.
• Two years of previous case management and supervision experience required.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Reliable vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Must meet Driving Requirements; no major driving violations in the last 5 years and no more than 3 minor driving violations in the last 3 years.
• Ability to pass references, a background check, a driving record check, and a CAPS check.
