Data Migration Specialist

Executing the end-to-end data migration process for SMB Petcare customers, the full-time remote Data Migration Specialist will manage client data intake, perform data cleaning and transformation, and oversee data extraction and migration execution while ensuring data integrity throughout onboarding. Key Responsibilities Receive and assess client-provided data files for quality and completeness, identifying gaps and inconsistencies Organize and clean raw data using advanced Excel functions and basic SQL queries to meet migration tool requirements Execute data imports into client applications, validating results and troubleshooting any issues that arise Required Qualifications Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and Power Query Familiarity with data formats such as CSV and Excel Experience with structured data assessment and transformation processes Strong organizational skills for managing multiple concurrent data migrations Basic SQL knowledge for querying and extracting data from databases is preferred
