Travel RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - $2,060 per week

Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) for a 10‑week assignment in Chesterfield, Missouri. The role will involve assessing patient dietary needs, developing personalized nutrition plans, and monitoring outcomes as part of a multidisciplinary team. The assignment is 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts and is a travel position. Responsibilities Evaluate appropriateness of diet orders and recommend changes as indicated. Instruct patients and families on dietary principles, restrictions, and practical strategies to achieve health goals per physician diet order. Conduct patient visitations, including screening for nutrition concerns related to malnutrition, tube feeding, TPN, and special diets related to disease. Develop personalized nutrition plans and implement interventions based on the patient’s current health. Monitor the effectiveness of nutrition plans and adjust as needed to improve outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and aides. Perform other duties within the scope of practice for Registered Dietitians. Qualifications One year of recent experience as a registered dietitian. Valid dietitian license in compliance with state regulations. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as Cer.A.T. or ASATT. Other relevant certifications or licenses. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills. Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism. Technical/motor skills: perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and assist with procedures and or use department equipment. Mental requirements: cope with frequent public contact and meeting deadlines under pressure; work under close supervision occasionally; handle irregular activity schedules and maintain continuous concentration to detail.
