Job Description
Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and a variety of diagnoses, with a primary focus on orthopedic cases.

Schedule

Monday to Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

No floating or weekends required.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for:

• Providing high-quality care to patients with orthopedic conditions, including total joint replacements and sports-related injuries.
• Managing a daily patient load of 8-12 patients within an 8-hour workday.
• Meeting productivity standards of 3.00 units per hour.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
• Documenting patient progress using Epic or similar electronic health record systems.

Opportunities for Growth

• Pediatrics

• Lymphedema
• Neurological/vestibular care

Experience in these areas is not required but would be a valuable asset to our team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Michigan State Physical Therapist License.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in geriatrics, orthopedics, and sports medicine is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in vestibular therapy is highly preferred.
