Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse (RN) Lewiston, ME. This role involves providing specialized inpatient care for patients with cancer, diabetes, pneumonia, and those recovering from general surgery procedures. The position supports relationship-based care to ensure excellent patient outcomes in a busy hospital setting.

Job Details

• Certifications: BCLS or BLS required
• Education and Experience: Minimum of 0 years of experience, RN license required, located in the Lewiston, ME area
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Additional Job Information:
  • Inpatient unit with a patient ratio of approximately 1:6
  • Experience with wound Vacs, Prevena Vacs, Baxter IV Pumps preferred
  • Handling patients with diagnoses such as cancer, diabetes, pneumonia, and post-general surgery
  • Unit utilizes EPIC electronic health records and equipment such as wound Vacs and Baxter IV Pumps
  • Role emphasizes relationship-based care and flexibility in scheduling in all inpatient areas
