Associate Attorney

Client is one of Michigan's largest divorce and family law firms, located in Southfield, Michigan. Role Description This is a full-time Associate Attorney position within our divorce and family law practice. The role involves managing family law cases, including divorce, child custody, support disputes, and related matters. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing documents, advising clients, negotiating settlements, and appearing in court when required. This is a hybrid role based in Southfield, MI, with the flexibility to work both in-office and remotely as applicable. Qualifications Minimum eight years of experience in Family Law and Divorce Litigation and Legal Advice to effectively advocate and represent clients. Research and Negotiation skills to develop case strategies, analyze legal documents, and negotiate favorable outcomes for clients. Strong written and verbal communication abilities to effectively convey complex legal information to clients and other parties. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and a valid license to practice law in the state of Michigan. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and professionalism.
