Ophthalmic Technician

We are looking for a Ophthalmic Technician who shares our core values and is ready to make a meaningful impact. Duties Assist doctors during examinations and procedures by preparing the necessary instruments and equipment. Perform preliminary tests, including measuring visual acuity, intraocular pressure, and pupil reactions. Includes visual fields, OCT, IOM, biometry, pachymetry, refraction, and more. Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately. Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and post-operative care. Handle phone calls, patient triage, and administrative tasks to assist the provider. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience and streamline clinic operations. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of medical office practices and medical terminology.
