Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred. Current documentation of immunizations and TB screening as required by facility policy. Preferred Qualifications Previous travel therapy or contract experience. Experience with patient populations typical to skilled nursing facilities, including geriatric care and post-acute rehabilitation. Assignment Details Shift hours: Work days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Meal break: 30 minutes. Guaranteed weekly hours: 35. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Impacting Patient Care Provide evidence-based physical therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Support patient mobility, functional independence, and safe discharge planning. Document progress and outcomes according to facility and regulatory standards.
