Job Description Gain a maintenance career as a Utilities Equipment Repairer in the Army National Guard, helping keep operations running smoothly on and off the battlefield. Your primary responsibility is to maintain and repair utilities equipment and special‑purpose support systems. Tasks include inspecting and repairing electric motors, electrical equipment, electric instruments, gas engine systems, air conditioner electrical and vapor systems, portable heater fuel/electrical systems, and fire extinguisher recharging systems. Responsibilities Inspect and repair air conditioner electrical systems, refrigeration units, and portable heater fuel/electrical systems. Service and maintain electric motors, electrical instruments, and gas engine systems. Perform testing, repairs, and maintenance on special‑purpose support equipment. Training The position includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with classroom and field instruction in electrical repair.
