# Project CoordinatorApplylocations: Akron, Ohiotime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 3 Days Agojob requisition id: JR102833**Job Summary:**Serve as project coordinator of the Economic Development Administration Sustainable Polymers Tech Hub WISE workforce development project.**Essential Functions:*** Plan, direct, coordinate and lead activities of specified project to ensure that goals, objectives and all elements are met within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.* Support day-to-day coordination of WISE and University of Akron component activities, reports and scheduling.* Manage and conduct UA/high school/community outreach activities, track course and student metrics and milestones, and manage tuition vouchers.# # **Additional Position Information:****Education:** Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree.**Licenses/Certifications/Requirements:** None.**Experience:** Requires a minimum of 4 years experience in project management. Excellent communication and organizational skills required. Previous supervisory experience required. Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and database computer software required.**Leadership:** May serve as direct first-line supervisor over exempt staff (and non-exempt staff, if applicable) or students.**Physical Requirements:** Job is physically comfortable; individual is normally seated and has discretion about walking, standing, etc. May occasionally lift very lightweight objects.**Working Conditions:** Standard working environment with possible minor inconveniences due to occasional noise, crowded working conditions and/or minor heating/cooling or ventilation problems. Some off-site outreach required.
