Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Configuration and CDRL Data Manager (CM/DM) providing support to Program Executive Office for Nuclear Command, Control, Communications Sustainment Division (NCL). The AFNWC/NC3 Integration Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, with an operating location at Kirtland AFB, NM. The NC3 Directorate's mission is to provide support to the Program Executive Office (PEO), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPEO NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs. This full-time position is located at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO and provides configuration management, CDRL data management, quality assurance, and software engineering support.

Responsibilities

In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition life-cycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the war-fighter.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Manage configurations of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes, and audits.
• Develop and administer Configuration Management Plans and maintain CM files, status accounting records, and baselines.
• Convene and manage Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Nuclear Configuration Control Boards (NCCBs), Technical Review Boards (TRBs), and Data Requirements Review Boards (DRRBs).
• Track and manage Change Requests (CRs), Discrepancy Reports (DRs), and Problem Reports (PRs).
• Conduct and support audits including Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCAs/PCAs).
• Maintain the CM library and software repositories.
• Support data calls, review CDRLs, monitor contractor compliance, and manage data item deliveries.
• Ensure configuration control for IT systems, including planning, data analysis, and documentation.
• Provide QA checks, licensing support, and packaging/delivery of software.
• Support baseline integrity including major/minor releases and patches.
• Review and analyze contractor CM programs and data submissions for compliance and completeness.
• Provide CM/DM input to acquisition documentation (SOWs, SOOs, PWSs).
• Ensure compliance with applicable DoD regulations and data policies (e.g., DoDI 5230.24, DFARS View phone number on click.appcast.io, ASSIST).

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Clearance

Education: BS/BA Degree

Years of Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience

• IT configuration management experience in a DoD environment
• Experience with HW/SW configuration audits and CM tool management
• Proficiency in CM documentation, version control, inventory management, and baseline control
• Strong understanding of the software development life-cycle and change control processes
• Experience with release documentation, reports, and database input
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

Clearance/Access: ICD 704 Eligibility

Education: MA/MS Degree

Years of experience: 10+ years of relevant work experience within the DoD/DoW, preferably in the Air Force Acquisitions community

Certifications:

• Configuration management (hardware/software)
• CDRL processing and compliance
• Change management and audit support
• Software version control and release documentation
• Familiarity with CM tools and data archival system

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and technical writing ability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Collaborative team player in an integrated product team environment
