Quality Technician II

Quality Technician IILocation: Wichita, KS Duration: 0-6+ Months (Temp to Hire depending on performance and companies requirement) Shift: 1st Shift (7 am to 3:30 pm) Pay Rate: $25.00/Hour on W2.General Quality Tasks: Proceeds with qualified, routine, and non-routine quality tasks. Applies specialized quality systems, equipment, tools, and methods. Initiates corrective actions when quality does not meet standards. Responds to quality-related inquiries; may act as the first point of contact.In Administration / Customer Services: Selects from defined procedures and practices to address changing work situations. Applies or adapts the correct procedure based on the issue. Operates standard software packages; handles routine and non-complex inquiries. Handles inbound and outbound calls based on structured or scripted content.In Production: Operates a defined number of related specialized machines and equipment. Sets machine parameters (may involve basic CNC programming). Operates automated line processing systems or a broader range of production machines. May run multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.In Assembly: Performs qualified assembly processes using various tools and machines. Requires some theoretical knowledge and procedural understanding. Repetitive yet skilled work in assembling electric/mechanical/semi-products.In Technical Customer Services: Provides technical or administrative standardized services to internal/external customers. Supports service delivery based on agreed service levels.Qualifications: Education/Training: 2-year vocational training in a relevant field. Experience: Up to 1 year of experience related to vocational training. 2 years of calibration experience is required. Technical Skills: Ability to run multiple machines at once with consistent quality. Basic understanding of CNC programming (parameter setting). Competence in operating tools, machines, and production/assembly equipment. Computer knowledge and experience required. Administrative Skills: Familiarity with specialized standard software packages. Ability to handle customer inquiries and routine service tasks. Understanding of standardized routines and clerical procedures. Other: Basic theoretical and practical know-how of procedures and systems used in production, office, or lab environments. Ability to follow clear input/output guidelines and procedures.
