As a Med Surg nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients with diverse medical needs. You will work in a supportive environment where your expertise and dedication are valued. This position offers the opportunity to work with oncology and med/surg patients, manage chemotherapy side effects, and float across different med/surg units.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology and med/surg patients
• Manage chemotherapy side effects and utilize Infusaport access
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float across various med/surg units as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
• Work every 4th weekend and 1-2 of the upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Requirements:

• Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• Need 2 years experience in setting
• 12 months of oncology experience in a hospital or medical center
• Experience with Infusaport access
• Completed at least one travel contract within the previous 12 months
• EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
• Med Surgical experience highly preferred
• CHEMO/ONS/ONCC Certificate is a plus
