Civil Engineer - Site Development

Location: Denver, CO, US Date: July 1, 2026 The Opportunity In this role, you will focus on the delivery of civil site development projects, assisting in the design, construction, and project management of projects involving grading, stormwater design, erosion control, culvert design, and pavement design. The Team As part of BV Operations, your skills will support projects in Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity & Commercial. You will be engaged with projects across the globe, from community improvements to large-scale mega projects, and will have opportunities for career development. Key Responsibilities Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase through completion, meeting client requirements. Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets. Interface directly with the client or sub‑consultants under direction of the Engineering Manager. Support business development through writing technical approaches, scopes of work, and client presentations. Ensure effective communication with other engineering disciplines and the project team. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Thorough understanding of civil site development (site plans, permitting, grading, stormwater management/design). Ability and motivation to lead portions of complex projects with guidance and mentorship. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years related work experience. Successful completion of pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records). Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer‑of‑record requirements for BV projects, as applicable. Certifications Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer‑of‑record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries. Work Environment/Physical Demands Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days, based on manager discretion and job performance. Typical office/home office environment. Physical demands include sitting, talking, grasping, hearing, keyboard input, driving, seeing, writing, reaching, stooping, crouching, walking, and standing for extended periods. May require travel to local and regional client sites. Salary Plan REG: Registered Engineering Job Grade 016 Compensation In accordance with local law, the compensation range for this position and location is $126,423.00 – $211,134.00.
