The Licensed Practical Nurse responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing direct patient care in accordance with the Minnesota state, federal, and facility guidelines Supervising CNAs Medication Administration Wound care and treatment Providing general nursing care to residents in accordance with the facility's nursing policy and procedures Addressing problems identified in the resident’s care plan for RN Nurse review Qualifications & Skills Of Licensed Practical Nurse Current and active license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, residents, families, and professional/regulatory agents The benefits of joining the Southview Acres family include: Affordable health and dental insurance Free life insurance Paid time off Career Growth Opportunities Tuition Reimbursement - up to $4,800 per year
