Job Opportunity
Permanent Full Time RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist position in a Palatine, IL general dental practice. They are looking for Monday 7-4, Tuesday 9-6, Wednesday 8-6, Thursday 10-6, Friday 8-1. This practice offers a sign on bonus, competitive daily bonuses, annual scrub allowance, Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-Term Disability Insurance and Paid Maternity Leave. You can even pick up shifts at other offices in their network for additional days.
We are a modern, state-of-the-art general dental office located in the Chicago Metro area. We are a thriving dental practice and are seeking an RDH Dental Hygienist to join our established and dedicated team. We are searching for a part-time or full-time member of our staff. Benefits included.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays
- Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods
- Communicate with doctor where there are opportunities in patients for restorative and/or periodontal needs
- Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient (review patient health history and care slips) and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients
Qualifications:
- Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
