Commercial Asset & Contract Management Senior Analyst RWE Supply & Trading Americas, LLC, Chicago Location: Chicago, IL, 60654 Full time/part time, permanent Functional area: Commercial / Trading Responsibilities: Perform detailed examination of commercial contracts (PPAs, ISDAs, etc.) to interpret, identify and meet all obligations for commercial operation while managing customer relationships with a focus on: Act as team lead for the contract and management of PPA deliverables from development through operational phase of the project, ensuring all obligations are met and in compliance. Support RTO/ISO coordination between RWE facilities and customers. Develop project roadmap, establish milestone dates and clearly communicate to all internal teams while managing the process through the construction phase of the project. Onboard customers as they transition from contract execution. Identify key areas of risk and sections of the contract to maintain contract compliance. Understand complex settlement mechanisms in PPAs related to floor pricing, curtailment, and basis risk. Coordinate with legal team to send formal notices, certificates, or binding correspondence to ensure contract obligations are satisfied. Project manage any disputes and damages claims. Responsible for Renewable Portfolio Standards registration and continued accreditation. Manage collaboration across operating companies and engage the development and operations business with commercial needs, including Engineering & Construction, Operations & Maintenance, Back Office, Business Development, Legal, Treasury, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Transmission and Commercial to ensure the full scope of the project is in line with all conditions in the PPA. Bachelor’s Degree. Experience in the energy industry, preferably with ISOs/markets/scheduling; any relevant experience will be considered. Experience working with contracts. Professional experience with Excel, project management tools and trading systems. Team player with strong customer relationship skills that can define needs and address issues in a timely manner. Excellent communication, organizational, research, and project management skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to present contract information in an approachable way. Strong sense of ownership and accountability of tasks. Able to meet deadlines with limited supervision.
