Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Restaurant Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing exceptional dining experiences, excellent communication skills, and a passion for food and beverage service. The Original Pancake House is family-owned (not corporate), opens days only, has great tips, good people, and no night shifts!

We have full-time and part-time positions available.

We are open Monday-Friday from 6:30 am - 2:00 pm, Saturday-Sunday from 7:00 am - 2:30 pm

Responsibilities:

Greet guests promptly and warmly, providing menus and answering questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services.
Take orders accurately, ensuring proper recording and communication of guest preferences, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen staff.
Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring proper presentation and serving etiquette.
Monitor guests' satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and courteously.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages, facilitating efficient communication between front and back-of-house teams.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 1 year of restaurant experience is required.
Strong understanding of food and beverage service principles, including proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including standing, bending, lifting objects, and carrying trays of food and beverages.
