Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) opening in Illinois- Sterling, Illinois- Full time- Hospital-Employed- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist NeededA growing independent community health system is seeking a Board-Certified CRNA to join an established anesthesia team. This opportunity offers a high degree of clinical autonomy, an attractive shift structure, and additional earning potential through optional extra shifts. Position Highlights Join an established anesthesia team consisting of 2 physicians, 9 full-time CRNAs, and 4 part-time CRNAs High degree of CRNA autonomy Schedule includes two 8-hour shifts and one 24-hour shift per week Weekday 24-hour shift includes 16 hours of out-of-house call Weekend 24-hour shift consists of 24 hours of out-of-house call Additional shifts available for increased earning potential Experience preferred Regional block experience preferred Broad anesthesia practice without several higher-acuity service lines No neurosurgery, open-heart surgery, transplants, or bariatrics Join a growing organization employing approximately 77 physicians and 75 APPs across 35 specialties Strong emphasis on physician/APP autonomy and work-life balance Compensation & Benefits High earning potential Additional earning opportunities through extra shifts Competitive compensation package Robust employee benefits package Support from an established, independent community health system Schedule designed to provide significant time away from the hospital Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program Board Certified as a CRNA Current or eligible Illinois APRN/CRNA licensure Previous CRNA experience preferred Regional anesthesia/block experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and ability to practice with a high degree of autonomy Excellent communication and collaboration skills About Sterling, Illinois Sterling is a welcoming community of approximately 26,000 residents offering an affordable, family-friendly lifestyle with convenient access to Chicago and the Mississippi River.
