Occupational Health & Safety Specialist

We are seeking an Occupational Health & Safety Specialist to develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety programs in a manufacturing setting. Key responsibilities include ensuring OSHA compliance , conducting safety inspections and risk assessments, investigating incidents, managing workers' compensation , and coordinating emergency preparedness. The role requires collaboration with various departments to promote a safety-first culture, supervise safety technicians, and deliver OSHA-compliant training. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field and 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial safety . Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to conduct investigations, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions is crucial. The position involves working in environments with dust, noise, and moving equipment and requires passing background and drug screenings.
